With views of a small river, a spacious garden of over 1,000 m², and a cozy fireplace, our house is the perfect getaway for families, couples, or friends seeking peace and nature – without giving up comfort.


The Kehrwedder comfortably accommodates up to six guests. The bright living area opens onto the greenery, and from the terrace, you can enjoy the sunset – or spend a winter evening by the outdoor fireplace.


Whether you’re taking a walk in the fresh North Sea air, enjoying a boat tour through Friedrichstadt’s canals, or simply relaxing in the garden – your holiday begins here, with a smile.

    A very nice and cozy house. Despite the autumnal weather during our summer vacation, we felt very comfortable. Destinations like Büsum, Friedrichskoog, St. Peter Ording, Husum, and Flensburg are easily accessible. The landlord was also very friendly.

    Quick and uncomplicated contact with the provider. The accommodation was even better than the pictures suggested. Everything was as good as new and very clean. Bed linens and towels were included. The accommodation is extremely spacious and quietly located with a large garden. All relevant destinations in Friedrichstadt, as well as the entire west coast, are within easy reach. We are more than satisfied and can only recommend it.

    • What amenities does the holiday home offer?

      The accommodation is fully equipped with Wi-Fi, a kitchen with modern appliances, private outdoor areas, and comfortable living spaces. The holiday home also features a large, fenced, idyllic garden (approx. 1000 sqm), with a covered terrace featuring an outdoor fireplace and river views.

    • Are dogs welcome?

      Yes, dogs are welcome. However, due to the increased cleaning effort, we charge a flat rate of €10 per night for dogs.

    • Is there parking available at the property?

      Yes, the Kehrwedder holiday home offers free private parking for guests.

    • When is check-in and check-out?

      Check-in is possible from 3:00 PM (or later), and check-out is by 11:00 AM. The holiday home has a key safe with an access code, allowing flexible arrival times from 3:00 PM onward.

    • Where can I get the key?

      The key handover is done via a lockbox with a code. The code will be sent to you shortly before your arrival. This allows for flexible check-in from 3 p.m. onwards.

    • Is the accommodation family-friendly?

      Yes, the property is family-friendly. The house offers plenty of outdoor space, and the quiet, fenced garden is ideal for families with children and dogs. A high chair and changing mat are provided, and a travel cot is available upon request. A children's playground and a beach volleyball court are located approximately 50 meters away.

    • What is included?

      • Fresh bed linen and towels, as well as basic amenities (soap, toilet paper) are provided.
      • Electricity, water, and gas are included.
      • Free guest parking.
